Guest FLH
Hillary Rodham Clinton led the Clinton administration's failed effort to provide universal health care coverage. Now, as Sen. Clinton (D-NY), she's raising new proposals for reforming the troubled health care system. Among her recommendations is legislation to prohibit insurance companies from discriminating against people whom genetic tests determine are susceptible to certain diseases. She also favors establishing a system of electronic medical records that would give people who move or travel instant access to their medical information.
