The Real Truthseeker
Hate him. Curse him. Lie about him. But you cannot stop him!!!!!!! The reality is, Rees is the only candidate in this ward 3 race who has flooded the ward with his campaign literature, it continues and anybody in the advertising business can tell you that Rees is playing it smart by the never ending advertising while his opponents have yet to be seen anywhere with their campaign literature as they are too busy with cocktail parties. We all need to wake up and realize that voters are not tuned in to debates as the last Patterson v. Gray debate saw only 80 people show up according to the Washington Post. People are not reading page 26 of the Post or the blogs/message boards to know what is going on. Over 95% of the people are totally zoned out, don't care and when they head off to the polls in September, they will vote the name they remember best. The foregoing is a fact that any advertiser or political scientist can tell you. Whether we like it or not, Rees is no fool and maybe it is this superb campaigning he has done that has drawn you haters. REES IS OUT THERE KICKING ASS WHILE YOU JERKS doggess HERE AND HIS OPPONENTS ARE BUSY WITH THIR COCKTAIL PARTIES OR STUFFING THEIR FACES WITH MEXICAN FOOD. News Blaster
The only part of Mr Rees platform I do agree with is the part concerning the tax issue of increasing our deduction levels and lowering our taxes over a period of time. Mr Rees will certainly score big in the minds of voters on this subject matter and none of his political rivals have even told us what they will do to address voter anger over the tax related issues. Otherwise, Mr Rees platform is well crafted but I doubt he will be able to achieve most of it as council members from the poorer wards will see it all as favoring the upper middle class and an extension of the Williams agenda. ????????????????????
