If you check the archives of DCist, you will find a few stories and/or interviews of Samuel A.C. Brooks but you will find no such stories or interviews of anybody who ran against Brooks. Why? Because his former gay lover Martin Austermuhle who controls DCist would not allow anyone running against his former lover to get any of his media coverage and anyone who appeared to pose as a threat, would be attacked by Austermuhle.
