Guest Risa Hoffman
Did you or someone you know evacuate from New Orleans (or another part of the affected region) during Hurricane Katrina? If so, WE WANT TO HEAR YOUR STORY!! Please participate in a brief, videotaped interview for a documentary detailing the stories of Katrina survivors. The documentary is being produced by staff members of a major non-profit organization located in Northwest and some of the young men they work with. YOUR COOPERATION IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE SUCCESS OF THIS PROJECT! Please help us to get the word out about the experiences of Hurricane Katrina survivors during the evacuation and now, as you are in the process of transitioning/relocating/re-building your lives. You will receive a small gift as compensation for your time. Of course, the true reward will be the satisfaction of making your story known as a part of a massive project to engage and educate youth and adults in DC on the grave human consequences of the greatest natural disaster on U.S. soil in our lifetime. In order to participate, or to ask any questions or make suggestions, please contact Risa Hoffman at: -risawynne@yahoo.com -202-319-1822 (work) -202-351-9734 (cell) -202-722-0080 (home) (Serious inquiries/interest only please) We are very flexible in scheduling interviews around your schedule. We will come to you when it is convenient! Please spread the word and be in touch.
