PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS

 

DATA CONVERSION PROJECT DETAILS & BUSINESS PROCESS FLOW

 

NATURE & SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:

The project consists of converting PDF/JPEG/TIFF/BMP files into DOC files. The PDF/JPEG/TIFF/BMP files contain the scanned file of documents. The quality of the PDF file will be good, as the scanning will be done on high-resolution scanners.

Minimum Slots: 100 PC for LC

without lc minimum 25 PC

INPUT TYPE: PDF/JPEG/TIFF/BMP

OUTPUT TYPE: DOC files

CONVERSION PROCESS/METHODS: Any good OCR software similar to Abbey Fine Reader.

HARDWARE SPECIFICATION: Dual Processor Server with

at least 80 GB secondary storage capacity.

 

SOFTWARE SPECIFICATION: Windows 2000 for server and

98 for workstation. Office 97 or above for work station. Abbey Fine Reader preferably version 7.00 any good Quality Software Package

Note: The client would appreciate licensed copy of All software .The software will not be supplied by the client.

 

PRODUCTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: 50000.00 character per day per systems, 22 working days.

 

ACCURACY: Min.99%. However the service providers are required to ensure maximum accuracy more than 99%.

 

QUALITY CHECK: UK Source Company

 

TURN AROUND TIME: The output data will be uploaded to TPQAT on the 30th day. The TPQAT shall check the data and give the certification within 15 working days. Errors if any below the min 96% will be made available for correction and the corrected data will be again uploaded to TPQAT within 24 hours and the certification obtained.

 

BILLING CYCLE: Every month at the end of the month. The invoice will be submitted to the Bank along with the quality certification from TPQAT and the amount claimed against the irrevocable Letter of Credit.

 

INPUT AND OUTPUT MODE: Compact Disks

 

PENALTY FOR NON-AVAILABLITY OF DATA: 20% OF MONTHLY BILLING.

DURATION OF THE PROJECT: 18 MONTHS Extendable to 36 months.

BUSINESS ACQUISITION FEE: INR 4,50,000/- per slot to the source Company.
