Guest Dr. Getz Posted March 11, 2005 Report Share Posted March 11, 2005 American University and the Levine School of Music are co-sponsoring a daylong Saxophone Symposium, with lectures, recitals, premieres of new works written for the saxophone, a masterclass featuring Dr. John Sampen, and culminating in an 8:00 p.m. Tribute Concert to Brian Minor, who forged groundbreaking relationships between composers and performers. This symposium will be held at American University's Greenberg Theatre, on Wisconsin Avenue. Tickets are still available for this event, and can be purchased for the entire day, solely the evening Tribute Concert, or both.
