DCSportsNut
If the Washington Redskins lose Laveranues Coles and Rod Gardner, they give up 140 catches and 1,600 yards from their offense from last year. This was on a team that only scored 15 points a game to begin with. I think Minnesota might entertain a Coles for Moss trade straight up considering Moss' issues. HailtotheChief
Finally someone on these boards has a brain. Moss is the best we can hope for. Gibbs should be able to motivate him to play the way he only can. But, now my dream of having the NFL's two fastest receivers (Moss and Coles) on the same team has vanished. Sigh
Guest Tomahawk
I heard that Washington Post staff writer Nunyo Demasio wrote an innaccurate story about Coles. They stated that he would be released, but from what I hear is the Redskins are putting him up on the trading block. Anyone know the scoop? Guest PurpleSocks
I have heard the Jets are talking with the Redskins about reacquiring Laveranues Coles from Washington for their defensive end.
Guest Greaseman
What about Derrick Mason? He has had 1000+ yard seasons for the past 4 years.
DCSportsNut
I personally think getting Moss would be a better fit than Coles. For starters, we don't want somebody who doesn't want to be here and Moss is a big-play threat who also returns kicks. Mark my word, Moss will be the MVP of the team next year.
