UK didn't give a chance to people of Diego Garacia to decide!

The British have the habit of giving what they don'T own to those who don't deserve. They did it recently in the Falklands (Malvinas) and in Palestine. While the British want the world to respect and accept the results of the referendum held on 12.03.2013, they have never given the indigenous people of Diego Garcia a similar chance to decide their own future when they were uprooted from their homeland and expelled in 1973 to the slums of Mauritius. That is because the United Kingdom wanted to lease the Island to the Americans to build an airbase and for the CIA to establish a secret prison. One wonders what the UN and the US would have said if Argentine deports all the British from the Falkland to the Slums of Punte Del Fuego?

If the UK hold a referendum in Bradford , people there my choose to join Pakistan or India. Holding a referendum in the Falklands(Malvinas) is like asking the Israeli settlers whether they would like to live in the West bank or going back to where they came from! It is nonsense from A-Z and the crafty British could think of something more intelligent.
