Guest Faith See Posted March 3, 2011 Report Share Posted March 3, 2011 The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network will host a one-day patient symposium about pancreatic cancer on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel 999 Ninth Street NW, Washington, DC. Pancreatic cancer specialists from the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Georgetown University Hospital, John Hopkins Hospital, Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and other institutions will address diagnostics, treatment options, diet and nutrition, genetics and more. The Symposium is an educational event for patients, survivors, caregivers, families, friends and healthcare professionals. There will be an information table at the Symposium for those interested in learning more about the organization, awareness events, and how they can become involved. Patients and survivors will be admitted free of cost with advanced registration. All others may attend for a $15 registration fee if registration is submitted by March 9, 2011. Those who have not registered by the March 9, 2011 registration deadline may arrive at the Symposium and attend for a $20 fee.
