atlock
Very Very Bad News for the DC nightlife scene.. Love Nightclub to remain closed.. Love, the District's largest nightclub, has been ordered to remain closed until it meets conditions laid out by the city's Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. And its owner, Marc Barnes, is actively seeking to sell the venue. Commissioners voted 4 to 0 Tuesday to keep the popular nightspot shut down until it is either sold or demonstrates improvements in the way it will operate in the future. read article washingtonpost.com For DC Nightlife and the Top Clubbing Events Visit THE ZONE

atlock
I agree. Many city officials are on the look-out for any reason they can use to close nightclubs. Had it been in councilmen's Graham ward he would have found a reason to close Love long before now. Loosing the city's premier club is a big blow to DC clubbing scene. Within the past year city officials have also closed H20, Platinum and Avenue.
