Guest a l c h y m e d i a
Helen Thomas asked a perfectly direct question: who in the Middle East now has nuclear weapons? President Obama's response was that he would not "speculate". Hmmm. Let us see if this administration refuses to "speculate" on Iran's nuclear program. The fact is he doesn't need to speculate, there is a single country in the Middle East (or Southwest Asia from a less Eurocentric point of view) with an extensive and well documented nuclear arsenal: Israel. And Obama and the rest of the US government knows it. But they cannot say so — why? Jimmy Carter has acknowledged Israel's nuclear arsenal. Guest LAW_*
Thomas' question was designed to test whether Obama would admit that well-known secret.
