Not only will hundreds of jobs be created in the construction phase of this new hotel, but also nearly 230 permanent new jobs will be created upon its completion. The guests of the Embassy Suites Washington/Convention Center, D.C. and its own operations are projected to add over $40 million to the District's economy each year. The hotel is scheduled to be completed in fall 2005 and will provide 383 guest suites, 6,500 square feet of meeting space and a new restaurant next to the Washington Convention Center. Not only will hundreds of jobs be created in the construction phase of this new hotel, but also nearly 230 permanent new jobs will be created upon its completion. The guests of the Embassy Suites Washington/Convention Center, D.C. and its own operations are projected to add over $40 million to the District's economy each year. The International Painters and Allied Trades Industry Pension Fund is a principal investor with the District government in this endeavor. Hilton Hotels Corporation will manage the hotel.
