Senator Joe Biden has run for president six times now and each time he got so few votes during the presidentail primaries that he dropped out quickly.

How can Obama expect to win by choosing the rival who got the least amout of votes among Democrats?

Joe Biden is versed in foreign affairs. The people who wanted Hilary as President may vote for Obama because of Biden.

RavenM,

Wrong Answer!

Today an ABC poll shows that 27% of Hillary's support are more determined to vote for McCain because Obama snubbed her!

Sir:

I do not necessary listen to all the polls, I listen to what the people are talking about. Some Hilary supports will vote for Obama because of Biden just to keep unity in the Democrat party. Then you have some who will cast their vote for McCain just to spite Obama, then there are people who will cast a vote for Nader for a total change in the system. The very last group of people are the ones who will not vote at all because they do not like either candidate.

Guest Newt Gingrich

Biden is not a figure of change. If anything, he is a lifetime member of the Washington establishment. He is the reassurance for the establishment that whatever changes Senator Obama might bring will not threaten Washington's entrenched interests -- the very thing the voters want changed.

This was a choice to try to compensate for weakness (on foreign and national security policy) and to reassure voters, who were unnerved by Senator Obama's confused reaction to events in Georgia.

Correct answer Guest_Newt Gingrich but not even Binden can protect him from his past with Rev. Wright, befriending a terrorist or getting a housing loan from a convicted felon!
