Psycho Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 DC TAXI DRIVERS HATE MAYOR FENTY This early on, DC taxi drivers are already complaining that the change over from the zone system to the time and distance meter is losing money for them. Taxi drivers in DC never liked Mayor Adrian Fenty when he forced them to make the change. While most riders prefer the time and distant meter system, those interviewed said they could not see a difference in their cost. Most of us know that taxi drivers are strange birds, fly around town like bats out of Hell and don't care about traffic or pedestrian laws.
