Psycho Posted May 22, 2008 Report Share Posted May 22, 2008 THE BATTLE FOR WARD 2 DC Ward 2 DC Councilman Jack Evans has a challenger named Cary Silverman who has a lot to offer and maybe more than Evans, but what he does not have is a campaign war chest anywhere near the size of Evans. Some in the community believe this fight for Evans may be a lot tougher than past ones because of a series of things that Evans has done to piss off voters. This race will be an uphill battle for Silverman but he has a better chance of unseating Evans than anyone before, for a long string of reasons but more so because voters are looking for change and new faces.
