cpalliman2002
Hi everyone, I am currently deployed in Iraq. I will be in MD for leave in October and would like to get hair fusion. However, I have a couple of questions; perhaps, someone could help me out. First, I am unaware of the difference between fusion and Intra-blend. Second, since I will only be in the States for 2 weeks, is it possible to complete the [fusion]procedure within that period? Thrid, I will return to Iraq after the 2 weeks and remain there for atleast six months; hence, will my hair require any professional maintenence during such a time? Fourth, is there a reputable stylist who performs fusion for less than $5000,? if so, where is he/she located and may I have his/her (dependable) contact number or email address? Thanks for your help!
Kristin876
Hi, I've had the strand by strand fusion done, but my real hair is extremely fine and soft, and somewhat fragile. Therefore, I've lost about 6-8 fusions from the root in the 2 weeks since I've had the fusion done. Does anyone have any suggestions as to anything I can use to put on my root to make it stronger so it doesn't break as easily? The girl that did my hair had 8 yrs experience and fused the extension to a nice size portion of my real hair, so it's not that it was a bad fusion. I know that I tend to brush my hair a lot b/c it tangles, so I've laid off doing that too much, and when I do it's gently. But any suggestions on shampoo, conditioners or treatments that can help strengthen my roots? Thanks!

Thanks for your help! Intra-weave is a pre-made system the base is constructed with material that replicates the skin, and the base within the system is constructed with netting material, hair is attached strand by strand to the netting and attached to your hair using combs or the base can be sewn in to make it more permanent, your hair is then pulled through the net and blended............. Fusion- Tiny sections of hair is attached directly to your hair using a protein based bond. Your hair is blended between rows and when properly done this system is virtually undetectable. I charge much less than $5000. and I am in the Laurel, Maryland area. hairbyvalencia@yahoo.com Online Photo Gallery hairbyvalencia.com I stay pretty booked by I will make room for you............. My goal is to cut out the middle man! I was also wondering if there is a fusion method with pre-tipped hair that will hold up through relaxing? I'm in the ny area & don't lknow of any stores in NYC,the Bronx or brooklyn that sell fusion supplies so I'm looking for them online! if you know of anything please let me know! Hi I'm a real hair processor. I own a company here in the US and a manufacturing unit in India. Isaac Hello Issac, The first rule of good customer service: Never assume, you have no idea how much money an indiviual makes or what they can afford, I'm sure you didn't mean to offend anyone (since you are trying to sell them products) but it is always better to let the consumer decide what they can and cannot afford. One more thing, I did take a look at your website and the extension iron that you are selling for $75.00 I have the exact peice of equipment (Love It by the way) but I payed 64.95 for it. I promise it is the exact same. As far as I'm concerned, you are the merchant, it is your responsibility to research and offer competitive pricing and then we can negotiate, why would I want to negotiate an over inflated price down to a competitive price that is not doing any of us any favors. Any merchant that solicits on my thread BEWARE I WILL check you out Sorry but I feel the need to keep my people informed Valencia
Guest Rein
I am a fusion specialist, I would be delighted to answer any questions on the subject of strand by strand hair fusion technique. It is a hair weaving technique that is undetectable. You can perm and color your hair with the system in place. IT IS WONDERFUL!! With this technique, do I need to have a lot of hair of my own? I typically wear it short but I've recently tried the lace front closure, which took a bit of my hair out. Would you recommend this method for someone like me? My temples are really thinning. How healthy is this method for my hair? Will it take my hair out? Can the additions be done as small as micro braids? thanks.

humble2
Hi all, I am new to the discussion board. I discovered it while on line desperately trying to find a hair fusion expert in this area. My husband is in the Air Force and is scheduled to return October 1st from an 18-month tour in Sarajevo. I'm so hoping to be able to at least get a consultation for the fusion within the next couple of weeks. My hair is natural but very fine so I'd really like to try the fusion. I've e-mailed "Valencia" and hope to hear back from her soon, as I 've not seen mention of any others in the area. If there are other skilled ones in the DC area, would somone please let me know? I'd really like to obtain services from Valencia, but I noticed in one of here threads that she mentioned how busy she is (that's usually the case when you're good at what you do). Hopefully she'll get a chance to get back with me. Thanks to all.

(medication has thin and some what bald spots ) via email sriley40@bellsouth.net Hello Riley, There are a few things to take in considration, I will leave you my email at the bottom of this post, I need you to email a contact number I have a few questions and I don't want you to publish your personal business, I don't mind paying for the call. I have several clients on medication that cause the hair to thin some we can work around, as far as the fusion bonds showing, your extentionist didn't leave enough hair to cover, women with thin edges need the fusion bonds smaller and the bonds need to be placed far enough from the hairline to avoid detection. When I first started to wear fusion my hairstyle choices where very limited because my hair was very thin, I couldn't wear straight hair I wore curly for volume, now that my hair is healthy and not as thin I am able to wear straight hair and loving it. Fusion should be left in the hair no more than four months before total removal, fusion touch-up's should be done no less than every two months, once a month for optimal results but keep in mind this is a basic analysis ladies indiviual results may vary, for instance I never leave my fusion in for more than three months (my hair grows fast). As for price, that to varies that is why you should do a consultation before getting the system so there are no suprises. I hope this helps........... valencia
ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!! I know this may sound repetitious but I THANK EACH OF YOU for keeping this thread alive for over a year now. Outside of my imediate friends and family I have never felt so much LOVE AND APPRECIATION in my life, I told a fellow specialist that you need to feed your business or it will starve meaning always give back to your immediate and potential clients in any way you can, but I must say each and every person who has posted or read this thread has given me much more than I could ever hope to give back..........Again I want to say to every one of you THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!! sophia
Valencia, you get what you give. People love you because you have a good heart. We both do hair, but we give more than just great hair. We actually care about the clients and in return they take care of us with kind words and encouragement. Nothing is better than getting "thankful" phone calls or emails from a client who you just finished doing their hair. JUst hearing how happy someone is because of the great job we did, is so worth it. Im off for the weekend but will do my duty on the thread and check in on Monday. sophia@sophiaparnachelli.com
Guest Siggypooh14
Hi, I have been interested in hair fusion for a while now. I was wondering if it really makes a difference in the type of hair I have and would it be worth buying the kit and doing it myself ? If it is worth it is it easy and safe to do myself ? It would be wonderful if you would repley because I can use your advice. Thanks

I was wondering if it really makes a difference in the type of hair I have and would it be worth buying the kit and doing it myself ? If it is worth it is it easy and safe to do myself ? It would be wonderful if you would repley because I can use your advice. Thanks The problem I have with fusion kits and instructional tapes is they leave out alot of useful and very important information and most of the time you don't know what you are getting, for example I had a client who bought one of those kits and pre-fused her own hair and wanted me to apply it when I tested the so called remover included with the kit it didn't work, can you imagine the disaster that would have caused? Turns out it was polywax and that product rips at the hair. What if she applied the system herself? she would have a major problem on her hands and it would be too late to fix it. When I tell you ladies to go to an advanced extension specialist and for my fellow stylist get hands on training it is because I know what is out there and who is out there, it is easy if you are trained by a professional, it appears easy if you mimic a tape. As for your hair type you need to do a consultaton to determine the best texture of hair to use, you also need a trained eye to spot damage I could go on and on.................. PLEASE BE CAREFUL....YOUR HAIR, BE IT NATURAL OR EXTENDED IS STILL YOUR CROWN AND GLORY............. Thank You for your response Valencia

Guest mia
I've just found this post in search of a stylist for my hair. I probably won't get this done until January due to the price. A few years ago I got a sewn in weave done in Houston by a lady that was GREAT. This was my first weave so I was nervous about it looking natural. I fooled a lot of people. But the problem with it being sewn in was the top of my head looking thick. So now I want the fusion style. I just had a bad experience with a hair salon in clinton Maryland, (Tonya's Salon) don't ever go there. I showed her a picture of the hair color I wanted and I came out looking like an orange. So now I'm nervous about anyone touching my hair. Could you please refer me to a specialist that can do this for me. Also what prices am I looking at to get this done. My hair right now is slightly past my shoulders. I would like my hair to be mid-back. Thank you.

Guest Janae'
Hair by Hair fusions sound like a very good technique. But the thing that I'm most worried about is the fact of styling and parting your hair. What's the point of getting your hair done strand by strand if you can't part or style it. I'm personally interested in hair fusion but I not sure if it would be interested in it if I can't style it the way i want to. And if I pay good money for hair by hair fusion will it look like a weave. Because I feel that it should look like your real hair more than anything and if it doesn't than i minds well get a weave. Doesn't Beyonce and Brandy have hair fusion and if I get hair fusion well it look something like that. I saw the pictures of hair by hair fusion and I wasn't that impressed because i thought it look to much like weave. I would like a hair specialist to answer my questions about this because I really interested in getting hair fusion. Email me at JanaeW22@aol.com to answer my questions.
