Guest Strong American Schools
This short video makes it clear that Americans need new leadership on public education. The film is produced by entrepreneur and venture capitalist Bob Compton and tracks students in the United States, India and China as they are completing their high school diplomas and competing for entrance into college. The film shows evidence that America’s students are not prepared to compete in the global economy and invites viewers to engage in a discussion about the issue. In 2002, UNICEF compared public education in 24 nations around the world. The U.S. ranked 18 out of the 24 nations. Join ED in '08 to demand that every presidential candidate has a plan to improve America's schools.
