busybee22
Hi everyone, I'm new around here, and was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to take my parents around the g-town area. We've been to a few places that were disappointing, so was looking for any advice. Thanks!
Guest Big Blue
I went to Old Glory Bar-B-Que in Georgetown! For an appitizer I had fried green pickles. They were very very good. For my main course I had the 3 meat sampler for $19.95. The Memphis rubbed ribs were quite tasty. That is why I keep coming back. The brisket was ok this time. I felt they were too thinly sliced and had little flavor. The lamb was very good, but not award winning like they told me. I really thought the sauce overpowered the taste of the Lamb The sampler comes with two sides and coleslaw. The mac and cheese was bland. I am picky though. The beans were not cooked enough, but the sauce was good. The draft rootbeer was good. I actually had two glasses. Old Glory is located in the heart of Georgetown. 3139 M Street NW, Washington, DC 20007 http://www.oldglorybbq.com
Guest Fletcher
Mie N Yu is pricey, but the food is good. It was a rare treat to find fiddlehead ferns.
