The Poet's Den

The Poets Den©, “is an electrifying poetic open-mic venue exposing artists from around the country.” The Poets Den is under the artistic direction of Abena Disroe, literally known as HighPriestess of Poetry. The Poets Den has featured many artists such as Rebecca “Butterfly” Vaughns, Jeffrey G. Duarte, Queen Sheba, Monte Smith, Tru-Life, Jean-Claude Toran, Triple Blak , Reese, Sylvia Dianne Beverly “Ladi Di,” Asantewa Disroe, Christopher D.Sims, and many others. The Poets Den has been presented at a wide variety of venues.

 

The Poets Den starts on June 28, 2007 and will take place every Thursday thereafter at Laurel Park Shopping Center in Laurel, MD..

 

Please come out to the grand opening of The Poets Den at the Laurel Park Shopping Center in Laurel, MD on Thursday, June 28, 2007 as she will feature Ms. Angeline Bandon-Bibum, Poet & Author of Sojourner’s Dream. The event also includes open mic, live band and refreshments.$10.00 Donation
