The First Annual Funniest Radio Personality in Washington Contest to benefit the Funniest Celebrity in Washington Charitable Fund, Inc., and other charities throughout Washington to be held on April 25th, 2007. The Funniest Radio Personality in Washington is an outgrowth of the nationally renowned Funniest Celebrity in Washington Contest, now in its thirteenth year, which has become an institution in Washington featuring celebrities from the media and politics www.funniestcelebrity.org. This event will benefit charities that each radio station represents and The Funniest Celebrity in Washington Charitable Fund, Inc. which raises money for such charities as Bread for the World, Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Foundation to Eradicate Duchenne, (helping find the cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophe), the Child Welfare League of America and the Johns Hopkins Children's Center. So far the list of celebrities include: Jim Bohannon, talk show host from Westwood One Radio is the M.C. Kirk McEwen - throwing out the first joke - WHFS Mickey Cucciella - morning guy, 98 Rock Marke Sterne - Washington Post Radio Steve Medley - the former Stevens and Medley Show Rob Carson - MIX 107.3 Chip Franklin - WBAL G.
