rollie87
For the past month, I've been keeping up with the reality TV series One Punk Under God that air on the Sundance Channel. The subject of the show is Jay Bakker, son of Christian uberstars Tammy Faye and Jim Bakker, and it follows him as he comes to terms with his family's scarred legacy while trying to maintain the church he founded, Revolution. Since the beginning of the series, Jay has stood up for gay rights, and the belief that religion should be open to everyone-- no one should be turned away. One of the things I love the most about this show is that it plays like a documentary drama, and less like your run-of-the mill reality TV show. Here are some clips from tomorrow night's new episode: http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/punk-god/285087 Has anyone else been watching this one??? BlackSun
American Religion is a cash cow cannibilizing true faith that there is something more to the human condition. I watched Jay Baker's first podcast. It must tough to be the son of a scam artist.
